St Ives Swimming Club Championships are now Licenced Level 3 meets.

To qualify for a trophy upon completion of the championships, please see details below;
The age groups are: 8/under, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16/17 & 18/over
Ages are as at 31st December the year the championships are held
Points will be calculated using comparative performance tables (FINA Points) to find each swimmer’s “best” swim in each category shown below. The best points from each
category are accumulated to determine the final overall places in each age group. Click HERE for more detail on "How it Works"
The following categories will be used:
1. Sprint – best points score from any 50m stroke
2. 100s - best points score from any 100m stroke (aged 10 years and over)
3. Form – best points score from 200m breaststroke, 200m backstroke or 200m butterfly
4. Distance - best points score from any 200m/400m free
5. IM – best points score from any 100, 200 or 400m IM
To qualify for end of year trophies:
• Swimmers aged 9 years and under need to have swum 4 events or more
• Swimmers aged 10 years and over need to have swum 6 events or more and at least 1 event from each category
• Masters swim for time only
